Aggregate Resource Potential of the Okanagan Area - Digital Data

This archive (okaggpot.zip) contains the digital data used by the Geological Survey Branch 
in the analysis of the aggregate resource potential of the Prince George area.  The 
results are published in digital form only and should be cited as:

   P.T. Bobrowsky, PGeo, N.W.D. Massey, PGeo., and A. Matheson, PGeo. (1998); 
  	Aggregate Resource Potential of the Okanagan Area (NTS 82E(west) and 82L(west)), 
	B.C. Ministry of Energy and Mines, Open File 1998-5 (digital data).

The data are presented as ArcView shape files.  These can be imported easily into Arcview 
or ArcInfo (as well as other GIS software packages).  The data can also be viewed in 
ArcExplorer, available for free download from the ESRI web site -
http://www.esri.com/base/products/arcexplorer/arcexplorer.html.

***** NOTE:  All data is referenced to NAD27.  Users of NAD83-referenced TRIM data will 
have to make appropriate conversions before use of the files.  An offset of upto ca. 200 
metres may otherwise result. *****
