Abstract:
BC Ocean layer derived and amended from BC Watershed Atlas.  Project Description: Merged coast lines from 1:50K watershed groups into a complete BC coverage. Merged adjacent lines belonging to the came coastal body. Built coast and ocean polygons. Dissolved islands smaller than 5000 square metres into ocean polygons. Removed remaining islands. Removed superfluous attributes.
Purpose: Show ocean and coastline of BC.
