Pegmatite
| Pegmatite is a very coarse-grained (more than 2
centimetres) intrusive
igneous rock. They usually occur as veins or dykes within granite or
syenite and contain similar minerals - quartz, orthoclase feldspar, plagioclase feldspar
and mica. They may also contain much less common minerals such as tourmaline, beryl, etc. |
