In 2003 Imperial Metals Corporation conducted a multisensor (gamma-ray spectrometric, magnetic total field) helicopter-borne geophysical survey over the Mount Polley Mine area, British Columbia, Canada. Flight lines were oriented east-west, spaced at 100 m intervals. The survey was flown under contract, by Fugro Airborne Surveys. The survey was funded by Imperial Metals Corporation and the British Columbia & Yukon Chamber of Mines "Rocks to Riches" Program.

This survey was published as the Quesnel Geophysics Map to MapPlace on March 26, 2004.  The MapPlace data includes digital gridded images for 2 magnetic and 7 radiometric parameters for each survey area. The downloadable files from this website are in georeferenced TIF – tagged image and PNG formats (UTM NAD 83 and Albers projections) and GRD - Geosoft gridded data format (UTM NAD 83 only). PDF theme files are also available.  The full product release is available as Geological Survey of Canada Open File 4619.
