If you have not already installed and configured Adobe's Acrobat Reader software on
your computer, you will need to download the file to your local hard drive. When
downloading, place this file in a temporary directory. This is the self-extracting
installation file. After downloading this self-extracting installation file, you must run
the installation program before you will be able to actually use the Adobe Acrobat Reader
program. You can do this by double-clicking on the file from the Windows File Manager or
by using the File, Run option from the Program Manager. This installation must be
completed before you can configure your web browser to automatically launch the Acrobat
Reader when clicking on a hypertext link to a .PDF file.
