Maintaining a current
awareness of mining and mineral exploration activities in the north-central region, and of coal mining and exploration
in the northeast. Communicating with government, industry and other interested parties on mineral activities and
related issues as appropriate.

Projects:
Regional mapping of deformed volcanics and related rocks in north-central Newfoundland; research on mining and minerals
issues for the Science and Technology Division, Research Branch, Library of Parliament; regional geology of Prince
Edward Island.
Associated Experience:
Formerly Director of Energy and Minerals, Province of Prince Edward Island. Extensive experience in University
administration, including research administration.
