The map area contains 55 recorded mineral occurrences. The
Omineca crystalline belt with associated batholiths and stocks underlies the majority of
the area, with a small portion of the Intermontane belt underlying the southwestern
corner.The low grade Logtung
(104O 016) deposit is situated in the northwest corner and the much studied
silver-lead-zinc Silvertip
(104O 038) Manto deposit is in the northeast portion of the map. Recent exploration has
been concentrated in the Midway area.
