The map area contains 55 recorded mineral occurrences. The map area contains 55 recorded mineral occurrences. The Omineca crystalline belt with associated batholiths and stocks underlies the majority of the area, with a small portion of the Intermontane belt underlying the southwestern corner.

The low grade Logtung (104O 016) deposit is situated in the northwest corner and the much studied silver-lead-zinc Silvertip (104O 038) Manto deposit is in the northeast portion of the map. Recent exploration has been concentrated in the Midway area.
