Open File 1992-13
by P.T. Bobrowsky, T. Giles and W. Jackaman

Details:  This published index provides a compilation of about 2400 data records pertaining to surficial geology/terrain maps of British Columbia. The database is presented both as a tabulated listing (Excel table link), and graphically on the MapPlace as a series of type indexes, linked to a summary report. The tabulated database contains map name, author, NTS area, scale, type of map, year, and agency involved. Click on the map below to view the data interactively. The hardcopy report is no longer available from Crown Publications.

The link to the Terrain Map Library provides terrain and slope stability related maps in digital format.  The digital maps may be constructed and viewed on-line or downloaded for use in a GIS or Desktop Mapping package.
