About Mineral Titles Online
On January 12,
2005, the government of British Columbia implemented Mineral
Titles Online (MTO), British Columbia’s internet-based
electronic mineral titles administration system incorporating
digital registration of titles and documents with electronic
commerce.
This website provides
an overview of the mineral titles system under MTO and what is required
for a person (individual or corporate) to carry out mineral titles
business in British Columbia. You will also find information on
regulatory requirements and changes that have occurred under MTO.
The three main sections
of this site are listed in the left column. To move through the site,
use the links in the left column or the "Back" and "Next" buttons at the
bottom of each page.
The right column
includes an email link to the Mineral Titles Branch for suggestions, and
links to a glossary of terms, information on BCeID enrolment, and the
production (business) site. There are also links to the “Help” topics
throughout the site; these provide detailed step-by-step instructions
for registrations online through the production site.
